How fit do I have to be for the Tour?
The basic requirement for the Tour is of course that you are well on this day. You control the pace and if necessary, the running guide will adjust.
What are good times for a tour?
In summer, the best time for jogging in Brussels is between 6 and 8 clock in the morning. There is less traffic in the streets and people on the pavement and the air is cool. It is also possible to run during the day, except for the (relatively rare) event of very high temperatures. During the wintertime (daylight saving time from late October to late March) it is better to run during the day when there is light.
Where do I meet the guide?
If your accommodation is close to the route, the running guide can collect you there. Otherwise the meeting will be on a point along the route (Grand Place for example).
Can I choose to which way we go?
The tours are designed to see famous sites and some off the beaten track, with a balance of history, culture and varied architecture. However, if wish to see some other sites or take some shortcuts to make the route shorter, this is not a problem.
How can I pay?
You can pay with cash upon meeting the running guide or by invoice at least 48 hours in advance. You will get a receipt from us.
Do I need to sign a disclaimer?
Yes, during your sign-in procedure, you agree the terms of Brussels Running Tours and sign a disclaimer form. As the tour take place near traffic and busy roads and involve physical activity, it can be hazardous. You must therefore certify that you accept all of the possible risks involved and will not hold Brussels Running Tours Barcelona liable for any eventuality.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age to do a tour with us or be accompanied by someone who is responsible for you.
